True power

True power cannot be contrived. It is a natural flow from your eternal self. In the calm of your being it flows through you. It is not yours. What you provide is a channel.  To honor this power, you must put yourself aside and simply be present to it. A gardener grows, an engineer designs, a machinist sculpts, a monk meditates and a dancers perfect the movement of their bodies-all with precision and excellence, all without attachment of their egos. For in the presence of their art is the timelessness of true power. To be a witness to it is a joy and a completion of what it means to be human.  Aspire for this. For when you see and hear in terms of love and eternal connection, when you delight in your days and have compassion for others, when you stand justly without fear, you will know that you are in true power.

I began coaching people in 1996 for an international non-profit organization. Previously, I worked as a mechanical engineer and physics teacher but found through my work in the non-profit, I was much more passionate about empowering people. So I decided to make coaching my occupation. My education includes: a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology, A master in education from Portland State University, counselor training through GSM International, three years of living curriculum and coach training through Landmark Education, and coach training through The Tony Robbins Institute.
