The power of solitude

Many people are afraid of facing the demons in their mind but the truth is, those demons are simply your power working against you. This resistance is going on in the background all the time. It shapes your personality and outlook on life. Learning to deconstruct their effect and channeling it to your good will transform your life. From a space of acceptance one gains peace and eventually enthusiasm.  The great test is, from nothing how well you can let go of what runs you and create the world and self-view you want, rather than one you do not?  This takes practice. At first it seems meaningless in our task oriented society to sit for long periods of time with nothing but out thoughts. However, eventually you begin to find you are no longer measured by your circumstances but by the view you develop within.  The stronger this becomes the more you are yourself.  This strength can then be with you in your life,  despite the day to day circumstance you find yourself

I began coaching people in 1996 for an international non-profit organization. Previously, I worked as a mechanical engineer and physics teacher but found through my work in the non-profit, I was much more passionate about empowering people. So I decided to make coaching my occupation. My education includes: a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology, A master in education from Portland State University, counselor training through GSM International, three years of living curriculum and coach training through Landmark Education, and coach training through The Tony Robbins Institute.
